Tororo leader’s to meets president to resolve district boundaries.

President Yoweri Museveni is set to meet local leaders from Tororo district to resolve the long standing impasse on district boundaries.

There has been a standoff between the Iteso and Japadhola communities over the demand for creation of another district out of Tororo to accommodate the Iteso who have always complained of marginalization.

Speaking to kfm, Jacob Oboth the Budama west Member of Parliament also the coordinator for this meeting said that this is a follow up meeting to an earlier one they had with the president on 25th June 2017.

The meeting is expected to be held at the President’s country home in Rwakitura.
