Teachers’ leaders have expressed disappointment with government’s failure to pay many of their colleagues.

The Secretary General of the Uganda National Teachers Union James Tweheyo says many teachers have not been paid their December, January and February Salaries.

Tweheyo says this is making it difficult for the teachers to deliver as expected.

He now says they will soon be summoning their district leaders to decide on what to do.

Addressing Members of Parliament early this week, the state minister for Public Service Sezzi Mbaguta said all salaries arrears are to be cleared by the end of this month.
