The administrators of the Estate of Sir Daudi Chwa II have welcomed the move by ministry of land to constitute a special committee to resolve the stand-off over ownership of pieces of land claimed by government and Buganda kingdom.
The endless squabbles have prompted government has set up verification committee mandated to examine these claims and make recommendations to government.
Speaking to KFM, Hanns Kyazze the spokesperson for Estate of Sir Daudi Chwa II says that this is a move in right direction.
He adds that as one of the contesting parties, they have all the necessary documents to back their arguments and will be willing defend their legality.
The committee to be housed in the lands ministry is to be chaired by the state minster Isaac Musumba and expected to deliver its report in not later than July 13th.
