President M7 is ready to deal with ADF rebels

Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni has warned ADF rebels against attempts to attack Uganda, saying they will be dealt with decisively.

He said they have held talks with President Kabila and the UN and agreed that they should deal with these killers and that an AU force should come and maintain peace in Congo.

He said the government of Uganda is waiting for the AU to assist the DRC to eliminate groups responsible for insecurity.

He also cautioned the supporters of the Obusinga to stop fighting over cultural issues such as differences between the Bamba, Batooro and Bakonjo.

The President was today speaking at a public rally at Bundibugyo District Headquarters as part of government efforts to reinforce the fight against household poverty especially among veterans in former NRA operational zones.
