Parliament’s appointments committee approves appointment of George Bamugemeire for a second term as deputy IGG

The appointments committee of parliament has approved the appointment of the deputy Inspectorate of government George Bamugemeire for a second term in office

Speaking to media shortly after appearing before this committee, Bamugemeire said as means of reducing complaints backlog, they are proposing for the establishment of specific offices to handle complaints In all institutions before proceeding to the IGG.

He said that some issues are too trivial to be handled by IGG yet they matter to the community, adding that such complaints handling desks will be of great significance.
