MUNTU – I’m not an NRM mole, i have stabilized and re-branded FDC

Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu has dismissed propaganda that he is an NRM mole in FDC and assured that his strategy of re branding and stabilizing the FDC Party is paying off.

Rallying for Busoga region votes for his second and last term as FDC Party president at Bugabula Guest House Kamuli yesterday, Muntu defended his ways of operation as having made the party vibrant and visible at the grassroots.

Muntu refuted allegations of working with Museveni to weaken FDC saying removing Museveni is merely a necessity but when he took over party presidency he launched collective agenda at Serena three years ago to rebrand the party as an institution not a one agenda (remove Museveni) party for aggrieved members

Muntu who said he is seeking his last term as party president said his term has seen the party spot talent, grow its leadership capacity and attract resources with more focus on conflict resolution,, enterprise building, passing on skills and experience.
