Muntu challenges police to increase resources allocated to its intelligence network

The opposition Forum for Democratic Change party presidential contender and incumbent Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu has challenged the police to increase resources allocated to its intelligence network as the only way to fight crime.

Muntu was speaking to KFM about the mysterious attacks on women in some parts of Wakiso district which have left about 20 people dead.

He has also asked the police leadership to concentrate its energy on meeting its constitutional obligation, rather than fostering regime longevity.
