MUK student’s leadership ready to work with new VC

The student’s leadership of Makerere University is ready to combine forces with the new vice chancellor Prof Barnabus Nawangwe who asumes his office tomorrow.

Prof  Ddumba ssentamu’s  term in officer expires  today and he is expected to hand over his office and keys to prof Nawangwe today.

Speaking to kfm, the guild president of the university Kato Paul says that they have been having a communal relationship with Nawangwe even when he was the deputy vice-chancellor finance and administration and now that he is the  VC, they are ready accord him cooperation.

He notes that he takes over the university at a time when students cannot access their marks online, first year students do not have ID and there is no transcripts for some students who graduated tasking him to revamp all the above.
