Makerere university guild council wants the Government to come out and inform students when the university is opening.
Addressing journalists at Makerere University, the guild president Roy Semboga says government and government have paid a deaf ear and everyone is playing hide and seek games.
He notes that it is not their fault that lecturers were not paid because as students they played their role of completing tuition on time.
He explains that since the closure, the consequences have cut across the nation and yet since the closure, no one knows when the university is opening.
It is against this background that the guild says the government should come and tell them that university is opening before Wednesday to avoid more damages citing to petition parliament as one of the activities they are planning.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Kampala metropolitan police Emilian Kayima said they should plan everything within the law because police wouldn’t allow them to break the law.
