The role of presidential advisor on military affairs, Gen. Salim Saleh, has been put under scrutiny by some legislators.

Kyadondo East MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda wants the army to give its position on the position of Gen. Saleh, who is also the patron of the wealth creation desk in the army.

Meanwhile, the proposal to have the UPDF take over the Miss Uganda Beauty pageant to attract the youth into agriculture and fight poverty has drawn mixed reactions from members of the general public.
