Machine breakdown cripples Naguru Hospital

The management of China-Uganda Friendship Naguru Hospital is currently grappling with inadequate funding from ministry of health to rehabilitate and replace worn out machine.

This hospital was donated to government of Uganda in 2013 to decongest Mulago referral hospital, but reports show that it has not met the expectations of its founders.

Now according to Naguru hospital director Edward Nadumba, many machines that were donated to Uganda by china need urgent replacement and repair, but no money has been allocated for this task.

He explains that the hospital receives over 200 patients on daily basis, which is an overwhelming number.
