The Nakawa Court Chief Magistrate Noah Sajabi has adjourned to 13th July 2017 the hearings of a case in which 20 people are accused of murdering Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

This is after state Prosecutor Caroline Opia informed court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.

Kaweesi was gunned down by armed assailants three months ago, a few meters away from his home at Kulambiro in Kampala on his way to attend a function in Uganda Christian University, Mukono district.

The suspects have still been remanded amid tight security at Luzira Prison.
