The opposition Uganda People’s Congress party has welcomed the move by government to implement a strict dress code for public servants but says a lot more needs to be done on improving morals right from childhood.
UPC spokesperson Micheal Osinde Orach says such directives will not yield much if there is no change of the mindset.
Osinde urges government through the ministry in charge of national guidance and the directorate of ethics and integrity to focus more on restoring family values if the country is to have well groomed future citizens.
