The looming censure of the East African Legislative Assembly speaker continues to raise concern among Ugandans.

The Kalungu West Member of Parliament has expressed concern over the ongoing fights and friction between Ugandan representatives to the East African parliament.

This comes as a group of MPs in the regional parliament plot to censure the speaker Margret Zziwa.

Ssewungu told parliament that this ongoing confusion is putting the country in bad light, demanding to find out what government is doing to stop it.

However responding to the concern, 2nd deputy Prime Minister Henry Kajura said government had taken no position yet on the matter.

The regional MPs including Nusra Tiperu and Dorah Byamukama accuse the Speaker of gross incompetence among other follies.

However, speaking to journalists in Kampala earlier Zziwa insisted that she would not resign.
