The opposition Forum for Democratic Change says it is embarking on a nationwide mobilization campaign across the country.
The party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda says they want to re-energize their party leaders at district level and at the grassroots to fight dictatorship in the country.
He was addressing during the party’s weekly press briefing at their headquarters in Najjanankumbi.
According to Nganda, their first stop is Mbarara district where they will be tomorrow. They are to hold a workshop for two days and wind up their visit with a rally before moving to other districts.
Nganda says they have notified the police of their planned activities and they expect them to cooperate.

However, police has in the past blocked several of the party’s activities, arresting a number of its leaders.
