Dp Leaders vow to transfer Nambooze from Kirudu hospital to a safer place

Opposition Democratic party leaders in Mukono have vowed to collect Hon Betty Nambooze from Kirudu hospital to a safer place for treatment.

This has been agreed upon in a meeting held in Mukono by party leaders from the greater Mukono districts’ constituencies.

According to the party spokesperson in Mukono district Nkangi Julius, police has not responded to their calls to release the legislator despite her poor health condition.

However the police spokesperson Emilian Kayima has cautioned them that this won’t be a good move because police is ready for them.

This comes after Uganda Human Rights Commission advised police to release the MP before her situation goes out of hand.
