Credibility of anti-graft court questioned

CSOs on budget

Members of the civil society under the Civil Society Budget and Advocacy Group have expressed concern over the current contention over the legality of the anti-corruption court.

They argue that it is likely to raise levels of corruption in the country.

Last year one Wesley Tusingwire filed a petition before the Constitutional Court challenging the legality of the anti graft court.

Addressing a news conference today, the Uganda Debt Network Programs Director Julius Kapwepwe said this setback has raised questions about doubt the court’s credibility.
