Climate experts warn KCCA on poor settlements

Kampala Capital City Authority has been advised to address the poor and marginal in slums settlements that are exposed to disaster risks ahead of Climate change projected by the end of the 21st century.

According to Climate Changes Expertsthere has been a projection of temperature increase in Uganda between 2oc to 5oc by the end of the 21st century.

While at KCCA climate change action stake holders dialogue Makerere University Environment Expert Rwocastic Twinemuhangi according to their findings by end of the 21st century Kampala temperatures will increase from 1.5 to 3 with more rain falls and floods.
