The Buganda kingdom premier Charles Peter Mayiga has reechoed the need for President Yoweri Museveni to have dialogue with the former FDC presidential candidate Dr Kiiza Besigye.
According to Mayiga this is the only way the two will ensure that peace and stability prevails in the country since they can ably restore calm among their respective supporters.
The Katikkiro made the remarks while meeting a delegation from the Inter Religious council of Uganda, the Elder’s Forum of Uganda and researchers led by Retired Archbishop of the Orthodox Church, Doctor John Kakembo.
The meeting was aimed at seeking the kingdoms engagement in national dialogue, through guidance, financial support and their voice to mobilize the public to be part of the dialogue.
The national dialogue is expected to take place on 26th of September.
