Agago North Member of Parliament Prof Ogenga Latigo says voters in his constituency are opposed to the amendment of the constitution to provide for lifting of the presidential age limit.
Latigo, a member of the opposition Forum for Democratic Change says during the consultations, close to 6,000 people participated in different meetings.
Out of these, he says only 48 voted in favour of the amendment while over 5,000 opposed the move.
The meetings did not have any party symbols allowed to ensure neutrality.
He says that he will definitely present the views of the people, advising other lawmakers to report back their findings without bias.
