More tests on the 5-legged baby

Doctors at Mulago hospital are still carrying out tests on a five legged baby born last week.

According to a senior consultant pediatric surgeon Doctor John Ssekabira they are yet to establish the exact organs that are affected by the abnormality.

The five legged baby is however, reported to be in a stable condition.

The parents are seeking help to treat their baby as well take care of the other 4 children left in the village.


The baby was born to one Awine Margret and Boniface Okongo residents of Nayingo village in Bugiri district.

According to  Okongo, the tests the operation could cost an estimated Shs.60 million.
