KCC FC got back to winning ways as they labored to a 1-0 win over Maroons in the Bell Super league game played at Wankulukuku stadium. Siraje Turyamuhebwa nodded in a beautiful cross from Moses Ochaya to give KCC maximum points and in the process eased the pressure on coach Morley Byekwaso who has been under fire after a series of poor results. Uganda Super League Secretariat has bowed to the demands of the local soccer governing body Fufa and released a new log of the Bell Uganda super League with sixteen teams. The table has Hoima- Busia rooted on bottom of the table without any game played. Fufa demanded the Hoima- Busia should be reinstated in the league after USL had thrown them out The log also shows teams like Express, URA, Masaka, Police, Fire Masters and Utoda to have played 13 games ruling out the initial three fixtures the six teams had played on September 9th last year. 16 time national football league Champions SC Villa have re-signed former captain Hakim ‘Boda Boda’ Magumba as a first team player. Since Mike Mutebi took charge at Villa Park late last year he has been persuading Magumba to return to competitive football. Magumba is regarded a legend at Villa and his return to the first team will enable the young players to see what a seasoned professional he is. Magumba was part of the historical Villa side that won seven straight league titles from 1998 to 2004 and he has been working as team-coordinator and also part of Mutebi’s coaching team.
