SK Mbuga’s wife denied bail

By Ephraim Kasozi. Ms Angella Chebet, the wife to socialite Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga, aka, SK Mbuga, has been denied bail pending trial in connection with fraud accusations. Justice Margret Tibulya of the Anti-Corruption Court dismissed Ms Chebet’s application for bail, reasoning that all five sureties presented were not substantial. “The sureties presented and their station of life is not appropriate to the bond required. Considering that the applicant (Chebet) jumped bail and fled another jurisdiction, the application is hereby disallowed,” said Justice Tibulya in a ruling read by Chief Magistrate Pamela Lamunu Ocaya. R. Kelly denies sex abuse charges

By AFP R&B superstar R. Kelly denied allegations he sexually abused women and girls in his first public comments since being indicted last month. “I didn’t do this stuff. This not me,” Kelly told “CBS This Morning”, saying he was “fighting” for his life in an interview to air Wednesday. Excerpts were released Tuesday. He dismissed the allegations against him as rumors. “Whether they’re old rumors, new rumors, future rumors, not true,” said Kelly, who became upset and emotional, and cried during the interview. According to Google-owned service Mega-hit song Despacito by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee has become the most watched video ever on YouTube with more than six billion views. The video, first released in January 2017 already holds the record for being the fastest song video to hit two billion, three billion and four billion views (272 days) On You Tube.
