Infrastructural development key for Uganda’s aviation sector

Infrastructural development is what will foster the growth of the aviation sector in Uganda.

The Minister of Works and Transport, Eng. Abraham Byandala has said that Uganda’s aviation industry requires better infrastructure to handle the growing demand for transport.

Speaking at a consultative meeting on the 20-year Civil Aviation Master Plan in Kampala  today, Byandala said though Uganda has managed to build more airports across the country, it still does not match the increasing traffic.

He says the plan will also include other players in the transport sector in order to boost the economy, including tourism.
