Hundreds take part in the Way Of The Cross procession

Hundreds of Christians are taking part in the Way Of The Cross procession as they celebrate Good Friday in remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ.
In Kampala, Christians from various churches have converged at Old Kampala Secondary School play grounds for joint prayers.
From Rubaga Cathedral, the procession has been led by Fr. Joseph Ssebunya the Chancellor Rubaga Archdiocese.
The procession has gone through Mengo Kisenyi with the pilgrims making a stop over at St James Church before heading to Old Kampala.
From the All Saints Cathedral Nakasero, the Way of the Cross procession is led by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace Stanely Ntagali.
Flagging off the procession, the archbishop has urged the Christians to use the Easter celebrations to demonstrate their faith in Jesus Christ. He has called upon believers to pray for the nation for peace and love to prevail with specific reference to the spate of killings that have rocked the country in the recent past.
While At St Peters Nsambya, the pilgrims have been led by the Vicar General Kampala Diocese Msgr. Charles Kasibante .
The Way of the Cross is running under the theme; “continuity through succession and obedience”
